Abstract
This presentation guides participants questions about freight markets that can be answered using readily available freight data sources, and how commonly used public and private data resources have successfully been applied in transportation planning and modeling applications. Particular emphasis is placed on how freight and economic data can be combined to demonstrate how not only freight modes, but larger supply chains depend on transportation performance.
